  •  Yes. Any donations to a 501c3 is tax deductible

  • As an early-stage non profit, Donations go to a combination of operational expenses, staff time, food-delivery logistics, in addition to the actual meals that will be served to veterans in their respective homes/locations.

  • Absolutely! Currently, we are looking for alead volunteer who can assist the Executive Director with logistics related to regional outreach to veterans facing food insecurity, coordinating meal delivery and logistics, and assisting to recruit other volunteers interested in food prep, delivery, veteran outreach, social media skills or other related services.

  • Yes. As an early-stage non profit we are grateful for any kind of donations, including in-kind.  Examples of in-kind donations we could currently use include:

    - Used (but in good condition) food service delivery vehicle 

    -Food /Meal Donations 

  • Absolutely! If you donate in memory of someone The Brotherhood Project will acknowledge and honor this donation in the following tiered approach based on the dollar amount donated:


    TIER ONE: $0 to $500 donation: Recognition on The Brotherhood Project Website and a brief featured article/story about the person you donated in honor of.

    TIER TWO:  $501-$3000 donation: Press release sent out to local media channels about your gift in addition to Tier ONE benefits

    TIER THREE: $3001 to $10,000: Dedicated "fellowship" named after individual you donated on behalf of- this fellowship will be awarded annually to a local veteran who has gone above and beyond with respect to addressing food security in the Cleveland area; donor will receive  in addition toTier one and Two benefits 


    TIER FOUR: $10,001 and above: Executive Director & Board will work closely with donor to determine how the funds can best support organizational need and honor the individual who donation is memory of.

  • Support for The Brotherhood Project is thoughtfully allocated to ensure veterans receive consistent, dignified, and high-quality care. 50–60% of all funds are dedicated to meal preparation and delivery, covering fresh ingredients, kitchen supplies, professional meal preparation, and the logistics required to safely deliver meals to veterans. This ensures that every dollar directly supports nourishing meals while preserving dignity and quality.

    Roughly 20–25% of funding supports program operations, allowing our programs and gatherings to run smoothly and reliably. These funds cover staff coordination, volunteer training and management, scheduling, and essential program materials—ensuring veterans can count on consistent services and meaningful connection.

    10–15% of funds are allocated to community and space development as we work toward establishing welcoming environments where veterans can gather. This includes preparing future communal spaces with necessary furnishings, kitchen equipment, utilities, and maintenance so that, once launched, these spaces are safe, dignified, and supportive.

    5–10% of funding supports outreach and awareness, helping us reach veterans in need while engaging volunteers and community partners through communications, events, and partnerships. Finally, no more than 5% of funds are dedicated to administration and oversight, ensuring responsible financial management, compliance, and strong governance—maximizing impact while maintaining transparency and donor trust.
